Q.A.D #4 Mini Kimonos

Another fun one made in 2002....I loved the oriental fabrics by Kaufmann but I had limited funds. I purchased enough fat quarters to make this quilt. I haven't purchased any more oriental style fabrics since. I STILL have the scraps though and so I know I could make another quilt easily. I used foundation paper piecing...quite tricky at first. Can you see the wonky binding? I've gotten better at binding over the years...especially after finding Fons and Porter and Thimbleberries 'techniques'.
