These awesome cupcakes were from a swap I did last year on Pat Sloan's yahoo group. I love them...not sure what I am going to do with them...a solid sashing? what about a border?....eventually I will have a 'moment' of clarity on it. Until then..you get to enjoy the blocks!
Round American bag...just a zipper and binding...that's it! Why haven't I finished it? LOL
What's this? I am not sure either. I found it in a project baggie...cut for something..but no pattern with it. Hmm....interesting eh? Is it a WIP IF I don't know what it's suppose to be?
I have held the american bag out from the "project bin" and am going to try to complete it this month....yes I said this month LOL and I meant that LOL.

Since all of the blocks have black/white backgrounds how about doing a narrow 1" sashing and border then a larger border to finish them off. Lovely cupcakes! wish I had them as a UFO.
I love your projects. You always make cute stuff. Can't wait to see the cupcake project finished. Good luck!
I love the cupcakes! You could do a black and white sashing as Nancy said OR I really like the looks of the blue cutting mat it's on as a sashing. It would really make them POP! Just a thought.
Those cupcakes are adorable -- boy, you'll have some fun with those. And that little Americana bag is really cute too!
Thanks for stopping by. Love your blog especially the 1930's projects. I will be coming back soon.
Love the cupcakes...I just finished designing a cupcake quilt for my new book...looks like there's a whole cupcake theme going on this year. Fun!!! Very cute and can hardly wait to see your cupcakes finished.
If you don't know what it's supposed to be -- they are called parts to be used in other projects :0). Love all the wip's you've been showing -- some fun projects to work on there!
I love your Americana bags. There so cute. But did you say zippers??? OH NO!!!! Those are no fun to do. Cute cupcakes too by the way.
Cupcakes are adorable! Sashing would be great maybe black. The bag is cute, you could finish it over the weekend. The 30's fabrics are my favorites, you can do 1/2 square triangles or just four patches and sash them with white fabric for a little mini quilt.
I love the cup cakes. They are so bright and cheerful.
I knew those cupcakes looked familiar! I made those, too, in Pat Sloan's swap!! I haven't done anything with them, yet.
I found your blog through Pam Kitty Morning. I love it!
