I spent my Friday relaxing..... mostly. I feel lucky today. I was able to get a manicure and pedicure and come home and sew for 2 hours. It's a luxury for one of those and today I was able to do both! whoa...
I pushed some buttons again at Hancock's of Paducah. I couldn't resist the pre-cut sale and Sultry by Basic Grey. I bought a layer cake. The fabrics arrived yesterday afternoon. I cut out the blocks late last night and pieced them all today. A bit more assembly is needed but I am really digging these fabrics. I like this pattern for these type of fabric lines with a mix of large florals and smaller prints. I think it showcases the large prints well. Update *** the pattern is called Lady Fingers by Cozy Quilt Designs. This little blue one is one of the last from the Baby Fats book. It has the most pieces...I kept procrastinating. Now it can be quilted.

What pattern (if any) are you using on the Sultry layer cake? Cute!
Ah...another sweet project...are you a magician and pull the quilts out of a hat? Your girl is adorable ;o)

I know how "helpful" a little one can be in the sewing room! Congrats on your luxury day! I am hoping to have one near Mother's Day!
She is really precious. I can hardly do one thing a month! How do you do it?
They often find so much joy in simple things like buttons and other sewing stuff.
The littlest things make them happy. It is amazing. I wish I worked like that. Your quilts are looking awesome.
