GO!
My friend Carol sent me an email last week that a really cool site was a having a sale on the Accu quilt Go! fabric cutter. I have been eyeing this for some time now . I finally bit the bullet. My job requires that I use my hands ALL day long for very tedious work in small spaces. As I have gotten older cutting with scissors or a rotary cutter is more and more fatiguing. I am hoping the GO! will help decrease that strain on my hands. I have already started using the Tumbler die with the new Moda fabric Nature's Notebook. mmmm I ♥ Moda fabric! but you know that already ;)
As I use my new cutter I am sure I will be posting what cool projects I can come up with! Thanks for stopping by.....

It's Tuesday again?
Well I guess it is...where did my time go? Well I have been frantically working on quilts to take to Quilt Market...yep, if I didn't mention this before...I'm going to Quilt Market this October. I am super excited. I am going to meet the coolest people in quilting and spend time with Rachel {p.s. i quilt} and Julie {jaybird} . I am making a bunch of projects big and small. I can't wait to see what market is like and maybe even go to sample spree!!! Once market is over I will have tons of pics and pictures of my quilts and such. In the mean time, here are 2 quilts I just got back from my local quilter guy..... My Figgy Four Patch on Modabakeshop.
My husband is Ga-Ga over this quilt because it is more manly.
This quilt top was pieced several years ago WAY before jelly rolls existed and I cut my own 2.5 inch strips from my 30' scraps. I used a pattern from Nancy Smith and Lynda Milligan of Possibilities.

I finished my 11th block from the Fat Quarter Shop's BOM using Peace on Earth by Moda. I have just one more block to complete by Heather Mulder Peterson. Then I can set the blocks...eventually I'll get it done. When I get home I am going to take a picture of all 11...maybe that will inspire me to do #12! LOL

What type of flower are these?
I planted these beauties from seed this year. The stake I made with the type of flower was apparently pulled out by my 2 year old. Any gardener out there know what these flowers are?
I know pathetic I don't just 'know' what they are....I'm not so much a green thumb yet...but I'm working on it. Speaking of working. I have been designing up a storm here. I am seeing a new Moda bakeshop project coming real close to September 17th...
