I'm tempted to lie.

It's true. I am tempted to tell you that I have just slaved over these seasonal stitcheries.
But the truth is that I stitched them sometime about 2 years ago.

I had some of the strips sewn to the borders but neither was trully finished.
This last weekend I took a new interest in them.
I finished the border strips, layered and hand quilted them, and sewed them into pillows.

I am happy to have finished them.
There is one more that I decided not to make a pillow, it's better a wall hanging thingy. I will show that to you when it's done.
Ack! these are Buttermilk Basin patterns by the way.

They are really cute! Aren't you glad they are done too? Just in time for the fall!

They are wonderful pieces. I love doing stitchery, find it relaxing and fast and I can make small wall hangings and matching pillows, so great gifts too.

Found you through another blog and that one through yet another's! Just wanted to stop and say what lovely quilts you do! If only I could say that I actually completed a quilt, I would be excited!!! (I have so many unfinished pieces and parts!)

Blessings & Aloha!
I would love it if you would take a peek at two of my posts that I shared some of the quilts I own and that I have yet to finish!
Also, I'm still looking and deciding on a sewing machine to purchase...and would love to hear your opinion.

Here are my two past posts about the quilts at our home:
