pre-quilting ------->
I hope it doesn't seem like I am not going to shut up about this quilt. I just wanted to post the original hello yellow quilt top. I finally made a new picture of it.
The kits for Hello Yellow are sold out, but if you have the magazine you will quickly realize that any layer cake could whip up a super cute quilt.
I love the original for so many reasons, the quilting especially.
Jackie custom quilted this for me with quilt market as a deadline.
As you all know Jackie is a peach and a fantastic quilter. I wish I could send her all my quilts!!

It's gorgeous! Great pattern and wonderful fabrics. And the quilting is beautiful!
I absolutely can't wait to make this. I saw it in a quilt shop made with "Fruitcake" by Moda and that is what I am going to use. I have my little dresden template and just need to start cutting. Very pretty!
The original is fabulous Vickie!
Thank you for the shout out!! I really enjoyed quilting it for you!
uncyhoWay to go my sister Vicki!! Love it. You are so fast to me it seems. Have fun
I love your quilt, so pretty with the Mill House fabric. Beautiful quilting too.
It is beautiful, so I don't blame you for showing it again! I'm glad to see the quilting up close, too. I've already got a layer cake set aside to make this one, as soon as I get some time for myself!
Wow...I love both Hello Yellow quilts! Jackie's quilting is gorgeous, too--I have a quilt I'm going to send her soon!
Awesome! It looks fabulous!
Oh sooo pretty!! Jackie quilted it beautifully too :)
This is gorgeous!!! I love this version, too!!! The quilting on this one is just beautiful~~
I love your quilt. What magazine was it in? I probably looked past it if it was in yellow, cos I am not a yellow person. That is one thing I like about blogs, seeing quilts made in different colors than what is in the original pattern.
I love your quilt...It is a fantastic pattern!

This is very pretty. You know, I never tire of seeing a quilt in other color ways. Thanks for sharing this one. I am a big Fig Tree fan.
