open season

This isn't my quilt.
Just in case you were wondering.

It was pieced by my mother in law from a bunch of her scraps.
She used the pattern Open Season in the book Schnibbles Times Two.

She had it machine quilted by a local quilter and while she was visiting we picked it up.
I spent this afternoon sewing the binding on by machine for her.

She also pieced this little table runner from some of my Fig Tree scraps.
Didn't quite get the binding on.
So that's part of where my week went.
My mother in law visited.
We shopped.
We sewed.
In between, I worked.
I'm exhausted.

Vicki,

What fun. Glad to hear your mother-in-law also likes to quilt. Love what she has created. Thanks for sharing.
