I was going to show my new Blythe dolls, a finished quilt and a few other things.
But there has been a change in plans.
Last Spring Quilt Market I picked up a stack of Storybook V by Windham.
My MIL is here helping with my sick 4 year old and she likes to sew while Elly naps.
We spent some time with the handy dandy Go! cutter preparing over {1200} 3 inch tumblers for her and I to sew {600 each}. Then we decided we needed some ivory fabric to break up the mish mash of prints. So we cut another 400 or so cream tumblers. I estimate it will be about 80" X 80" quilt when finished. My quilt isn't going to be exactly the same as hers because we only had 7.5 yards of solid ivory and so we cut for her and I will get some later. It was more important to get her sewing tomorrow!
I hope to show some finishes this week if the weather cooperates. I'd like to take some pictures when it's sunny. These last few days have been just too rainy and dreary.

Beautiful colors!
Love those 1930's reproductions! Hope daughter is better soon!
Ok , I admit it, I am a newbie quilter......what is a tumbler?
I love that baby tumbler die. Check out my blog post about the doll quilt I made for my granddaughter using the little tumblers. I bet that strips of them would also make a very cool border.
