A few months back I put together some quilty 'kits' for my Mother in law.
It is increasingly difficult for her to use a rotary cutter and such.
I decided to take 4 of my patterns and make kits.
This first quilt is one of those 'kits' and is a pattern by Sweetwater called Make Life 'Sweet'.
I cut the colorful strips from Sweet Broderie and some Bella white.
My MIL picked the borders.
It went together quickly for her.
The quilt below is from scraps that I sent her. I am not sure which book she used for this quilt.
However, it looks a great deal like a quilt in Strip-Smart by Kathy Brown.
I just thought I would share before I take them to the local machine quilter.

Those look wonderful and I am sure your MIL loved having the kits made up for her.
What a nice thing to do for your MIL! I'm sure she appreciates your kits. These 2 quilt tops are colorful and cheerful. :)
You are sweet to help her out with kits! Often it seems the cutting is most time-consuming. Love the finished tops.
What a great idea! I'm sure she really apreciated the kits, and look at the beautiful quilts she created. Will you cut a couple for me? LOL!
