This weekend has brought me time to bake, read and sew.
The cookies were inspired by my sisters' baking last weekend.
We just had to have more chocolate chip cookies.
:)
I haven't felt the need to blog because there just wasn't a lot to blog about.
How many blog posts could I write about laundry, dishes and work?
Not that many.
I have been also slightly absorbed with new books.
My sister brought the entire Twilight series for me to read.
In just 9 days I have read all four,
Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.
I nearly swore I would never read them.
Then I caught the first movie on Showtime during a free trial weekend
and the rest is history.
I wanted to read the books because books always seem better than the movies.
So I have finished them
and I feel I can move on to bigger projects.
More halloween-ish projects, tablerunners because I NEED more, felted ornaments...just 3 left to finish, a few more secret projects that can't be shown ....yet.
I am sure I will be blogging a bit more now.
I have a list of 10 blog posts I want to write soooo that should keep me busy for quite awhile.

LOVE me some chocolate chip cookies!!!!
I feel the same way you do. Haven't blogged and really don't plan on it for awhile. I'd rather Facebook. lol
Chocolate chip cookies and Twilight....my favorites! I did the same thing with the books and the movies. My daughter walked around with the books, unable to put them down. I came across a blogger close to my age that posted something like New Moon was so AMAZING!!! So I started thinking and she went and rented the movie Twilight for me and the next night New Moon was at our local theater and the frenzy began for me. I've read the books, and ready for November for Breaking Dawn!
another Twilight fan! I discovered the series a few months before the first movie came out. I live in Vancouver and was able to see some filming for New Moon and Eclipse. can't wait for the next two films! is it November yet?????
OK, I am seriously in need of cookies now! Thanks! My blog has been on hold for a bit too, sometimes, I just don't have that much to say. Can't wait for the new project reveal though!
I love those books and it took a really long time for me to give them a go too. Glad you enjoyed them.
I did the same thing with Twilight! The books are soooooo much better than the movies. :)
Okay, now I'm craving some chocolate chip cookies!!!!!
I wasn't really nutty about the books. They are a good read. I read the first two. Just not into the vampire thing. All that stuff aside, they were good reads.
My girls are just bug-nutty about them. One is Team Edward and the other is Team Jacob!
LOVE Twilight :-) I resisted... then caved after my teenage cousins swore I'd love it. And I did love it. I own all the books and all the movies, to date.
Yeah, I'm 31 and love Twilight and Harry Potter... sue me. haha
Wondered what you've been up to!
Cookies look delicious! And me with a chocolate craving over here. Glad you enjoyed the book series. I listened to all of them. I won't give you my review. Let's just say we don't talk about Twilight among my cousins. They don't like to hear what I have to say about the books. LOL!! :)
Sounds like a wonderful 9 days to me! BTW...if you go here you can read a partial draft of Midnight Sun which is the 1st book told in Edward's perspective! It's excellent...just hope she releases the whole thing eventually!
