Ah yes the borders are on and it's ready for quilting.
That's the next challenge...hand quilt? machine quilt?
Well I did hand piece the flowers so I think I am going to hand quilt it.
That could take awhile but atleast the top is done!
I didn't really intend to be 'away' from my blog this long.
I am going to try to be better.
I just didn't want to post without pictures.
I've been doing stuff like
I made a pie...
but I don't think Marie Callenders count as "my pie recipe".
So I decided not to post it LOL.
I am going to make some more pictures this weekend, it's a beautiful weekend for it.
That's beautiful! I love the fabrics you used. How big is the quilt?
ReplyDeletelovely little quilt...I love fall colours
ReplyDeleteI love little quilts and yours is just so cute.
ReplyDeleteIt's adorable, Vickie. I love it.
ReplyDeleteVery nice flowers!!! I once hand pieces a nosegay quilt and felt the same way so I ended up hand quilting it and loved it. I'm sure it would be beautiful whichever way you quilt it.
ReplyDeleteI love using the MC crusts and making my own filling. It is so much easier too.
Vickie, when I saw you working on the little bugger I had to start one too. I only got a couple of little guys done but soon I will make more and get it done. YOurs is just darling. I am sure your hand quilting will set it off.
