We had some great snow this morning.
It was just pretty and a great day to sew.
I picked up the new Denyse Schmidt fabrics at Joann's last Saturday.
I also grabbed a coupld of spools of thread that coordinate.
I tend to get caught without a coordinate for quilting or sewing the binding.
This line is Aunt Edna and the quality is great.
The price is killer though $12.99 regular price.
I paid $9.09 a yard on sale.
Still a little steep for a JoAnn fabric IMO.
I have already pieced the quilt and it's off to my quilter tomorrow.
I will show a picture as soon as I can....

Yeah, major sticker shock. I couldn't believe the price when I saw the bolts at Joann's last weekend. The prints are lovely, though.
Yes but aren't they lucious?
Purchased, pieced and on the way to the quilted all within a week. I'm impressed. I haven't seen the new line yet but I am headed to Joanns tomorrow for some black home dec fabric.
I agree with JoAnn's prices~ but you are going to have a beauty on your hands. Way to sew!
Joann's prices can be a bit on the high side.
Your fabric choices arae wonderful and it is wonderful that you already have a top ready for the quilter.
Can't wait to see the pics!
ya, that was sticker shock to me when I saw the price on Aunt Edna too :( I passed, but will probably pick up little by little with a 40-50% coupon. I like it much better than the last batch that came out....
Those are pretty fabrics. That is pricey for JoAnn's!
pretty fabric color combination
and........can you please send some snow to Michigan? I am craving snowy days to sew. This has been a very odd winter weather year in my neck of the woods.
does the fabric feel nice?!?!
i mean compared to fabrics like moda, art gallery, dear stella, etc.
At our JoAnns in Medina, it was $9.99. That $12.99 is absurd....worse then quilt shops.
Yep, I thought the same- 12.99!! You got to be kidding me. I left mine at the store- even though I wanted it bad!
