Yep jelly roll race #3 of 6 is sewn.
I used an older Moda line Blossom by Urban Chicks.
I added a rectangle 2 1/2" x 4" to each strip.
It gives it a more random modern look.
I am hoping to take this to the quilter this weekend.
I am actually hoping he will have one of them done for me!
I will have 6 quilts to bind by December 20th.
That seems far off...
but....
really it isn't...
Are you making Christmas gifts this year?
love the little accents with the short bits - really adds a lot to this pattern! Jelly roll quilts are sew much fun!
ReplyDeleteReally like this version. What size did it end up?
ReplyDeleteAnother beauty! You are on a roll with these.
ReplyDeleteWonderful quilt - colour are just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Tatyana
I am making one of these too.
ReplyDeleteLove the 4" addition to each strip, it make for a striking quilt.
ReplyDeleteI love the "action" that the vertical stripes bring to this top! I think this is my favorite so far...
ReplyDeleteI make gifts for my daughters and daughters-in-laws, because my one daughter doesn't like anything I give her, and this way she can't take it back to the store.
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt by the way.
I like how scrappy that one looks. And I really like the squares added! I can't believe how many you have made in a short amount of time! Way to go!
ReplyDeleteI like this one too. It looks easy and quick. The receiver will love it.
ReplyDeleteI love jelly roll quilts. My family loves them, too.
ReplyDeleteReally like the 2 1/2" x 4" pieces you pieced between each of your strip! Added pop and additional randomness : )
